lightning + nail polish

Say hello to Lightning! He's a mixed dog we got Sunday night! I know this picture is in the bathroom, and it's because 1) He would start crying and barking if you left him alone, 2) I had to brush my teeth, and 3) It was like 12AM and there's no light at that hour. He's really troublesome though so my mom called the lady who gave us to him and she said she would find a new owner. He has his sweet moments but my family and I were looking for a much smaller dog so that he could get along with Spanky.

The polishes I currently have on my nails. Essie and Love & Beauty (from Forever21) are my favorite nail polish brands. I have yet to try OPI polishes, mostly because I haven't seen a lot of colors that are appealing to me except for the OPI Chapel of Love. Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle in 'Clear', Love & Beauty in 'Gold', and Essie in 'Mint Candy Apple', the color I've been lusting after!
My nails currently. Ever since I saw a post about asymmetric nails on the MTV blog, I've painted my nails with my index finger a different color. After reading about people struggling with getting glitter nail polish off their nails, I stayed away from glitter polishes but I saw a photo of asymmetric nails that had a gold index fingers and a metallic blue on the other fingers and I was hooked. I have a nudish color from Sinful Colors but it didn't cut it so when I saw this gold polish at Forever21 a couple months back, I had to have it. When I applied it,  I realized I was going to have a lot of trouble getting it off but surprisingly,  it came off easily with the nail polish remover and didn't chip! If you're looking for a new nail style, asymmetric is the way to go!

A side note, I'm going to Hurricane Harbor (the Six Flags Water Park) and I would love to take pictures but I would probably drop the camera in the pool. Le sigh.

What's your favorite nail polish?

michaela hearts cupcakes

Crumbs Bake Shop in Hoboken,NJ. Sorry for the crummy (no pun intended) picture. It's been raining all day and it's kinda depressing. I have had a Crumbs cupcake back in April and it was so good. When I found out there was one nearby and I happened to be going to Hoboken today, I jumped on the opportunity. My mom stayed in the car while my sister, my cousin, and I went into the shop, where the people were sooo friendly. I'm a picky eater but when it comes to sugar, there's no place to go wrong for me. I had looked at the cupcake selection online before we had left the house and narrowed it down to the Good Guy Cupcake, the Vanilla Sprinkles Cupcake, and the Happy Birthday Cupcake. Even though it wasn't my birthday, it was the only Crumbs cupcake I had tried so far. When I saw the cupcakes in person, they just all looked so good. I quickly knew what cupcake I was going to get.

Ooh what's in the bag you ask? Well let's skip on over to my kitchen counter to find out!

And the winner was... THE GOOD GUY CUPCAKE! I'm a sucker for a lot of sprinkles and the white chocolate drizzle just made it even better. Plus, I love vanilla anything.

The Good Guy Cupcake from above. Ahhh sooo pretty. I was afraid to eat it! But when I bit into it, HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH PEOPLE. I couldn't finish it so I plan on just bringing it along with me tomorrow when I leave for Youth Camp along with my lunch. Le sigh, no blogging for a week.

I will post about the MINT CANDY APPLE ESSIE NAIL POLISH I FINALLY GOT. Along with the rest of my Essie's. (well the other 4 that is).

Where do you get your favorite cupcake(s) from?

i just need a job.

Yesterday, I was surfing the web looking for jobs fifteen year olds can have (for after my birthday) and looking at bags from different designers like Miu Miu, Juicy Couture, Moschino, and the most important one due to this post, Marc Jacobs. I really want a job so that I can pay for my own things like nail polish, make-up, and other goodies I come across. My sister worked at our old school this year and made four hundred dollars for the summer in total so I plan on working there too next summer. I saw the Marc Jacobs Quilted Stam bag online and I fell in love with it. I'm really into quilted and chained bags at the moment but I currently only have my camel colored crossbody chain bag and I would like a black crossbody then this one in time. A girl can only dream right? What's your favorite bag and do you have a dream bag?

Sorry for the lack of posting.

I may post or not, depending on my mood but I haven't really been taking pictures. I plan on totally revamping this blog, from the colors to a totally new name/URL. I leave for Youth Camp next week so I won't be on here (nothing usual, haha) or Tumblr. I think I'll take pictures because it's so beautiful in the area in Pennsylvania where we all stay. Seeing bunnies hopping around and what not.

Also, I get my Nikon in December (3 months, 6 days), so I will definitely be posting more often on this. I decided to not turn my Tumblr blog into a personal photoblog mostly because Tumblr has become a contest. Stealing themes, photos, etc. and I don't wanna have to go through all of that. Even if a photo does get stolen and reposted, you can now track it thanks to Google. ( http://www.lacquerized.com/2011/07/how-to-find-your-borrowed-photos-with.html )

Well until then, au revoir mes amis!

Bag + Photoshop CS5

I'll try to post on this more often but ehh.
This is my favorite Juicy Couture bag! It's a crossbody bag and it tends to go with the majority of my outfits. I have a large tote bag version of this bag which I used for the school year.
I found a serial number to activate my Photoshop CS5 and I'm actually happy I took the time to learn how to use Photoshop instead of letting it take up space in my computer. Although it wasn't letting me save images due to the resolution of my netbook, I figured out how to expand my resolution by hacking into my computer's registry.
I sound like a nerd.
Baking post later! :)

making a blogspot.

So I finally got around to editing the blogspot I made like two months ago. Emeline messaged me today asking me if I had one and I said yes, but I don't really use it/ know how to! So I finally got on and edited it, but I plan to edit it more but it's HTML & editing in general is much harder than Tumblr's (in my opinion). But I'm here to stay!
I hope to post pictures soon! <3
